Alec Baldwin Will Return to ‘SNL’ to Portray Donald Trump Yet Again

Alec Baldwin Will Return to ‘SNL’ to Portray Donald Trump Yet Again

Donald Trump will have an excuse to have “Twitter fingers” again.

Recently, Saturday Night Live alumnus Alec Baldwin  revealed that he will return to Studio 8H (where the legendary sketch comedy series is recorded) as our current commander-in-chief  Donald Trump—blonde wig, orange bronzer, and all—for a new season of SNL.

Despite the real Trump calling Baldwin’s impression of him “unwatchable”, it was Baldwin’s Trump and Melissa McCarthy’s [White House Press Secretary] Sean Spicer impression that catapulted SNL to its most watched season in 23 years.

Are y’all looking forward to Alec Baldwin play Trump again on SNL? Or are yall over it?

Did You Catch Lavar Ball and Co. on WWE Raw?!

The Ball Family Made their “WWE Raw” debut last night–and it was epic!

For those of us not living under a rock, everyone should know by now about the first family of basketball— The Ball family.

Lavar Ball may be a bit overbearing at times, but that doesn’t stop him from keeping him and his sons Lonzo and LaMelo in the constant spotlight. The NBA clashed with WWE on Monday night.

Last night, the father and son trio made an appearance on WWE Raw which was taped at the Staples Center, a place where LaVar’s oldest son Lonzo will be spending a lot of time due to him officially being a Los Angeles Laker.

First and foremost, it was a perfect opportunity for LaVar to further promote The Big Baller Brand. Although LaVar is hated by most for his media antics, he shunned all that aside and entertained us all from the moment walked out to the wrestling ring. Clearly, it was his time to shine now.

Next thing you know, LaVar is shirtless acting a damn fool–and it’s the most entertaining thing ever.

Everything went south when LaMelo, the youngest of the Ball family, heard something that shouldn’t have been caught on the mic. In a friendly yet heated exchange in which LaVar challenges The Miz, LaMelo was heard saying, “beat that n-gga ass!” on WWE Raw— alive program by the way. Of course Twitter had a field day with it.

It was a major dub for the Ball family; however, the WWE was left to clean up the mess. A statement of apology was left saying this, “The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values.”

Tyrese Continues To Tease Us With A Potential “Baby Boy” Sequel

Tyrese Continues To Tease Us With A Potential “Baby Boy” Sequel

Some movies shouldn’t have sequels…for a good reason too! As iconic the movie Baby Boy is, I honestly believe the world can go without a sequel. How we are feeling doesn’t stop Tyrese for still pushing for a sequel to come to the light.

Here’s a quick timeline of everything Tyrese has said about the possible sequel.

April 30th: Tyrese showed us an Insta-vid of the famous Baby Boy scene of Jody and Yvette arguing as they walk down the stairs outside Yvette’s apartment.

May 1st: The hashtag #BabyBoy2ComingOfAge was captioned under a picture of a car that resembles Yvette’s from the movie. Tyrese shouted out John Singleton, while challenging his Instagram followers to quote their three favorite lines from the original movie.

Today, in a since-deleted Instagram post, Tyrese continued to egg us on with a movie poster of all the characters from the first film. On the poster, Taraji P. HensonVing Rhames and Snoop Dogg made appearances. How can everyone make a return to the film if Rodney, Snoop Dogg’s character, died in the first movie?

t’s no secret that Jamie Foxx is an extremely versatile and talented guy. Although Jamie began a career in comedy, he was fortunate enough to branch out and dominate the acting world while dabbling with music over the years also.

Recently on Thursday (May 25), Jamie appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote his new game show, Beat Shazam–in which he will be the host for the show. Jamie and Fallon battled it out on a regular Fallon segment called “Musical Genre Challenge.”

“Musical Genre Challenge” puts Fallon against his guests in a battle to sing popular songs in various genres. For example, Fallon belted out a ’60s rock version of the “Bad and Boujee” hit by Migos. Despite Jimmy’s impressive attempt to flip “Bad and Boujee”, it was Jamie who stole the show away. In the end, Fallon accepted defeat calling Foxx  “the most talented man on earth” by the end of the segment.

Watch Jamie absolutely kill it in the Musical Genre Challenge Below. He committed to a Broadway musical version of Baha Men’s “Who Let The Dogs Out?” and an opera rendition of Rihanna‘s “B-tch Better Have My Money.”

Netflix’s “The Get Down” Has Been Cancelled

Netflix’s “The Get Down” Has Been Cancelled! What are everyone’s thought about this?

For those of you who haven’t heard by now… the ground-breaking hip-hop origin storytelling series The Get Down has been cancelled!

Deadline was the first to report the news.

Baz Luhrmann, famous for 1996’s Romeo + Juliet, 2001’s Moulin Rouge, and 2013’s The Great Gatsby explained in a lengthy Facebook post why the series won’t be returning for a new season. Luhrmann confirmed the news when he expressed the show being “unlikely” to go back into production.

Although he poured a lot of love and energy into this project, he also reveals he had to be true to himself. “The simple truth is, I make movies. And the thing with movies is, that when you direct them, there can be nothing else in your life.”

Read the complete statement from Baz below.

Ice Cube Confirms “Last Friday” On The Late Late Show!

I don’t know about y’all….but I’ve been waiting for a new Friday movie every since the  news leaked about a fourth movie in the works came out years ago!

Since then, time has passed and we’ve seen people such as Ice Cube‘s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton) and comedian/Wild’n Out star DC Young Fly tease us with the possibility of playing the iconic roles of Craig and Smoky.

While the Internet has clearly chosen them for those roles, actual word on the real movie and its casting has been kept quiet..until recently!

Ice Cube sat down with singer Jason Derulo on Tuesday’s (May 16th) episode of The Late Late Show with host James Corden. Cube spoke about his Big 3 basketball league (ex-pro players in pick-up games with old school rules, including hand checking and trash talking), meanwhile Derulo confessed his admiration for the original Friday movie.

Derulo was thrilled  to be up close-and-personal with the N.W.A. legend as he said this about the classic stoner comedy, “Friday was one of my favorite movies of all time. I would watch it every single Friday, it was that serious.”

After talk of the OG Friday, Cube revealed that he’s working on the fourth movie now, making it the last one in the series. According to Billboard, Cube had this to say about the next Friday installment, “We were working on one right now. We’re gonna call it Last Friday.”

While Corden tried finessing his way into a role in Cube’s new project, and failed, the pair did get a bit physical as Corden and Cube playfully trash talked; Cube also displayed the art of hand-checking.

Oh yeah, Jason Derulo bust out some pretty fly-ass Michael Jackson moves too. Check it out below.

Fox News’s ex-CEO Roger Ailes Passed Away at Age 77

Fox News’s ex-CEO Roger Ailes Passed Away at Age 77

Roger Ailes created Fox News from the ground-up. Serving as chairman and CEO of the company, Ailes created the controversial politically-charged channel while serving as president of CNBC in the early 1990s.

He eventually left CNBC, and the rest was history. Last summer, Ailes resigned from his company amid sexual allegations from Fox News Channel Host Gretchen Carlson’s sexual harassment lawsuit against him. Ailes denied Carlson’s sexual harassment allegations against him.

Ailes’ career stretched five decades, not only reaching the political arena, but also dabbling in the entertainment field.

In a statement from wife Elizabeth Ailes, she says Roger was her best friend and a loving father to their son, Zachary. She even called him a patriot “grateful to live in a country which gave him opportunity to work hard, to rise-and to give back.”

Cause of death is unknown at the time. Prayers up for the Ailes family in this trying too.

‘Power’ Fans…Season 4 Is On The Way!!! [MINOR SEASON 3 SPOILERS AHEAD]

Season 4 of the STARZ hit drama ‘Power’ will be arriving earlier than expected. The release date comes straight from show creator Courtney Kemp’s Instagram page.

‘Power’ fans— the wait for Season 4 is coming closer than we think!

Show creator Courtney Kemp released this teaser trailer on her Instagram earlier today. I SERIOUSLY NEED TO SEE THE FULL SEASON FOUR TRAILER THOUGH. Originally, the follow-up to season 3 was slated for a July 2017 release. That was last June when season 3 ended. Courtney and her team were trippin’ to think we’d wait peacefully to see how Ghost finesses his way out of jail for a crime he didn’t commit.

The end of season 3 left us with so many cliffhangers that if we were pushed to the edge anymore, we probably would’ve fell to our deaths! What’s gonna happen to Ghost’s son Tariq? Will Kanan kill him? Will Tommy take over the business now that Ghost is in jail?

Make sure you watch season 4 of POWER on June 25th, only on STARZ.
