According to Will Smith, Barrack Obama gave him the green light to play him in a future movie role. It’d be a hit for sure!
I don’t know about y’all, but I definitely miss Barrack as our president. He exemplified the embodiment of grown man swag–plus he was the coolest president ever on so many levels! It’s only a matter of time before we are blessed with a movie focused on his life as the 44th POTUS.
While not currently official, Will Smith shared with The Late Late Show host James Corden that Barrack Obama granted Smith the permission to portray him in a movie role in the future. It was during Tuesday’s (August 8th) debut episode of Corden’s wildly successful Carpool Karaoke segment—which is now a stand-alone show on Apple Music—in which Smith jokingly revealed the news.
“I talked to Barack about it. He told me that he felt confident that I had the ears for that role.” Watch the first Carpool Karaoke episode below!
Ice Cube Confirms “Last Friday” On The Late Late Show!
I don’t know about y’all….but I’ve been waiting for a new Friday movie every since the news leaked about a fourth movie in the works came out years ago!
Since then, time has passed and we’ve seen people such as Ice Cube‘s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton) and comedian/Wild’n Out star DC Young Fly tease us with the possibility of playing the iconic roles of Craig and Smoky.
While the Internet has clearly chosen them for those roles, actual word on the real movie and its casting has been kept quiet..until recently!

Ice Cube sat down with singer Jason Derulo on Tuesday’s (May 16th) episode of The Late Late Show with host James Corden. Cube spoke about his Big 3 basketball league (ex-pro players in pick-up games with old school rules, including hand checking and trash talking), meanwhile Derulo confessed his admiration for the original Friday movie.
Derulo was thrilled to be up close-and-personal with the N.W.A. legend as he said this about the classic stoner comedy, “Friday was one of my favorite movies of all time. I would watch it every single Friday, it was that serious.”
After talk of the OG Friday, Cube revealed that he’s working on the fourth movie now, making it the last one in the series. According to Billboard, Cube had this to say about the next Friday installment, “We were working on one right now. We’re gonna call it Last Friday.”
While Corden tried finessing his way into a role in Cube’s new project, and failed, the pair did get a bit physical as Corden and Cube playfully trash talked; Cube also displayed the art of hand-checking.
Oh yeah, Jason Derulo bust out some pretty fly-ass Michael Jackson moves too. Check it out below.
