Joey Badass and Logic Freestyle on His Instagram

Joey Badass and Logic link up for an impromptu freestyle session during some downtime on the Everybody Tour.

On Tuesday (Aug. 8th), Logic and Joey Badass posted a video of them vibing out during an impromptu freestyle session. The session was posted to each rapper’s Instagram page, respectively.

If you thought they were just hanging out by random, think again. Joey and Logic are currently on tour promoting their albums, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ and Everybody, the same name of the tour. Although a fire freestyle between both artists, who wouldn’t love to see an actual collaboration flourish from them both?

The Everybody Tour began on July 7th in Salt Lake City and will continue until August 26th where it will conclude in Toronto. Feel free to check out the rest of the tour schedule here.

While the rest of the world was grabbing their popcorn (and tea) trying to defuse the Rob Kardashian and Blacc Chyna beef (which oddly involved T.I.) which unfolded over Instagram and Snapchat, some really dope music from a respected emcee also dropped over the holiday weekend.

Joey Badass released the heat (July 5th) on his Soundcloud. “Love Is Only A Feeling”, “Too Lit”, and “500 Benz” are all produced by Statik Selektah. Recently, Joey and the Pro Era crew announced the third annual Steez Day festival which takes place in New York this year. Pro Era Records Announces Third Annual “Steez Day” Festival. In addition to Pro Era, A$AP Mob, XXXTentacion, Ab-Soul and others will be there. This year it’ll be back in New York. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

It’s been 5 years since we’ve lost one of the greatest emcees to ever grace this Earth.

Courtney Jamal Dewar Jr., better known as “Capital STEEZ” from the Brooklyn rap collective Pro Era, was the heart and soul of the group.

To honor his passing, Joey Badass, Kirk Knight, and the rest of the Pro Era family have thrown the “Steez Day” Festival since 2015.

Today, Pro Era announced the line-up for the third annual Steez Day which will be back in New York. Check out the flyer and line-up below.
